Botdoc uses Google's Application Programming Interface (API) Services to enable the user authorization feature for accessing the Botdoc platform (i.e. use of your Gmail account to login to the Botdoc platform). Botdoc's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
The information collected and used with these API services includes personal data such as email addresses. Botdoc does use certain scopes to send email's on behalf of our users and we also use scopes to read the email address from the users account. “Personal Data” means data that allows someone to identify or contact you, including, for example, your email address. We collect, use, and store Personal Data, as described within the practices below.
Botdoc's development team can share information collected and used in the Google API Services with our development partners or affiliates as detailed in our company privacy policy. Data collected and used with the Google API Services will be shared only if it is (a) needed to provide Botdoc functionality, (b) required by law, or (c) for use in security review and investigation.
If, in our sole discretion, we believe that an actual or potential violation of the Terms of Service, this Use of Google API Services Agreement, or any of our other terms, agreements, or policies has occurred, we may share and process Google API Services data as needed to investigate, prevent, or take action against the activity.
Botdoc affirms that it will not use any data accessed from restricted Google API Services scopes (such as Gmail) to serve advertisements, including remarketing, personalized, or interest-based advertising.
Botdoc applies administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to data accessed through Google API Services to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. This includes encryption in transit and at rest, restricted access controls, and continuous monitoring of our systems.
